About Waqar Rizvi

I love Stockton, and I know that we have work to do. I am running for City Council so we can make our home a better place for my wife, our two children, and our entire community. 

I have lived in Stockton my entire adult life, serving as Delta College’s Student Body President, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from University of the Pacific, and receiving a Doctorate in Organizational Innovation from National University. I chair the Stockton Planning Commission as well as the Salvation Army’s Stockton Advisory Council. I also serve as District Governor of 53 Rotary Clubs across the Central Valley, helping lead health and education programs both in our region and around the world. Outside of these leadership roles, I serve our communities every single day as an Information Systems Manager for our County government.
